Driver side fuse panel when you open the door.
Not getting ppwer fir sam to rear door hatch lock.
The only way i can open and close it now is by crawling through the car and using the small finger hole manual release.
My drivers side door will intermittently not open.
The rear hatch on my 2010 forester wouldn t open or respond to lock unlock commands.
I then test the lock by pulling the lock up on the door to make sure it isn t sticking.
The same thing happens with the key fob.
If you have this problem try switching the relays.
Then it won t fully open or close with motor.
The primary method of opening the hatch is an electronic button on the hatch.
It does not mater if i am using the remote or if i am using the lock unloc button on the drivers door.
Now i can get started and have everything fixed in a day.
The only way to open it is to physically pull the handle.
Currently the rear hatch door broke in that it won t properly open with the key.
Over the summer i encountered the all too common problem that we ve been having with the rear hatch not functioning.

I am having an issue with the power locks on my 2003 h2.
If i lock the rear doors manually they will unlock.
Works likea charm now.
The locking mechanism in the latch is broken or it could be electrical i e.
My rear hatch is about a 50 50 shot on locking.
The key fob will unlock all of the other doors.
Door lock relays.
It seems that when i press the lock unlock button on the driver door the front passenger door and the liftgate lock activate.
The driver side door would not open properly more heavy to open manually.
If i get in and try the unlock on the drivers side stretching from the passenger side it won t unlock.
One locks one unlocks.
Manual manipulation will eventually get gate open closed.
Been going on for about 8 months now.
The 2 black ones.
It made noise and opened partially.
I have tried switching the lock and unlock relay that is located in the fuse panel and it still does the same thing.
The rear doors and the back hatch will not lock with the power locks.
Went down picked up 2 fresh ones and wala.
It doesn t make any difference locking the car by using they key fob the touch sensors or the inside door lock unlock buttons either way you do it still same 50 50 shot of it locking.

After doing a whole lot of digging the only info i could find was about the wires splitting in the rubber sheath.
The only way to unstick the lock is hitting the unlock button on the door then hitting it again to lock it.
However the drivers doors and the passenger rear door do not lock or unlock.
The solenoid isn t getting the electrical signal to lock and unlock.
