Mark the center of the existing hole on the edge of the door. Use a hole saw to drill through the plywood and halfway through the door. The plywood will hold the pilot bit on track until the saw starts cutting. Clamp a piece of plywood to each side of the door lining up the center lines with the center line on the door edge.

2 draw a circle on a sheet of plywood measuring the same size as the hole in your door using a compass to make the circle. When enlarging a lockset hole mark the centerlines of the old hole on the door. Then bore into the plywood and through the hole behind it. Turn the door over remove the plywood disk from the hole saw and use the hole saw to drill through the other side of the door until the two holes meet.
